Did you know

  • One in five children do not know where their next meal is coming from, and may go to bed hungry.
  • More than 49 million Americans live at or below the poverty level.
  • Each month, the Sacred Heart Food Pantry provides food to over 450 families.
  • During the last 12 months, we distributed over 35,000 bags of food to over 1,000 families in the towns of Carver, Lakeville, Middleboro and Rochester Massachusetts.
The plight of those in need is greater than any individual should have to face alone. Our mission and the mission of the Socieity of St. Vincent de Paul is to help the poor and those who are needy and suffering.

The 5K provides an opportunity for walkers and runners to participate in the mission of feeding the hungry in the communities we serve, while raising awareness of the challenges faced by the nation's needy.
